Need Help Please!!!!!
 

I am having no luck playing avi format video. I have tried windows media player, Creative media source, and Real player.
Any info would be appreciated on which system will play these..

You probably need to d/l the right codecs.
I USE VLC Media Player . It already has the codecs in it and its free.

corrupt files?
 

Do you get any message saying your file is corrupt...?

If yes try to rebuild your file's index with this prog.: DivFix You can find it here for free: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multime...d/DiVFix.shtml
(Check the "cut out bad parts" box and hit "Rebuild Index". A new file will be created... try to play the NEW FILE and if it works and you are sadisfaied delete the old one and keep the new one....

Burning to hard disk
 

Will I be able to transfer dvds to my hard disk with DiVFix 1.13? I would like to get ride of my clutter and also be able to load to my I-pod.
