The only way you'll know if it has subtitles is if the person puts(w/english subtitles) in the title. Most people don't do this so you end up downloading something that you can't understand. This had happened to me before.

If you are trying to download some "well known" movie you can try than to find a sub elsewhere... there are sites offering free subtitles for download... try to search for the sub with google........

If you plan on doing what Dagam3 suggests then it would be best if you go to this site and download the free program that allows you to view movies that have a separate subtitle file. www.divxland.org

All you need to do is open both the movie and the subtitle file, click on Preview Only and play the movie. The subtitles will automatically appear in the movie.

Thumbs up

No ofense... but almost every serious movie player has support for subtitles... and from some time ago even the codecs are build to load subtitles over the overlay screen when they decode movies.....(ie. ffdshow, somthig from NimoCodecs .......)
