![]() hmmmm How many files are you sharing ... I do not want you to say what they are unless they are free of any copyright restrictions, but roughly what sort of thing are they, are they correctly tagged, are people likely to search for them. How long do you leave Limewire running for. I've never counted my upload rate myself ... I'm not quite sure if you are referring to Uploads or attempted ouploads. Let us have a few more details! ![]() |

![]() hey, the mp3s i like to spread are dj-mixes.. My first problem is not the number of uploads-if i look at my request-monitor there are only a very, very few incoming requests (30 search-words per hour) and the requests dont fit to my mp3s.. I used to have at least 30 search-words per minute that the search-words just rushed over my screen so quick, that i couldnt read them, but now there is only a new word every few minutes and and i wonder why that changed... |

![]() Im beginning to understand now ...sorry for the delay, the forums have been crashing rather a lot. When you open "incoming searches" you will see a stream of searches coming in. They are the searches being put into the network, by anyone for all sorts of things. now if one of the searches you see corresponds to part of the title of one of your peices, then your piece will hopefully show up in the search window of whoever made the search, but they are probably not looking for your piece so they probably won't download it! The reason why this stream is sometimes fast and sometimes slow, has to do with the amount of trafic at the time, and also whether you are running as an ultrapeer or a leaf, which can be seen in the Connections tab, but it is mostly unintelligble to most people so don't worry about it! One or two people have put the names of their pieces in the forums, which is not a problem, PROVIDED no copyright breaches are involved, and the title of the artist also helps. It won't get you instant success... but it would be a start ![]() I hope this helps a bit .... let us know |
