OK here are the result I ran all 3 spyware detectors prior to re installing BS/Lite my computer came up clean. I then installed BS/Lite I did no go onto the Internet I disconnected from the Internet after I DL the installer. And prior to running the spyware detectors which I ran 3 times before installing BS/Lite.

Below are the results both of prior and after all 3 detected spyware after installing and running BS/Lite. But BS/Lite ran fine after the spyware was removed. I think I really haven't taken the time to mess with it allot since removal of the spyware. I only started it and connected to the Internet and did a search and made sure it was UL to others.

I do not know if the results are correct from the detectors. I have found that you are usually right when you make a comment but I am having a hard time convincing myself there is no spyware in BS/Lite. If you have any other suggestions let me know I will try them. I do not wish to make any false statements.

After Installing BS/Lite I do not know where the Avenue A Inc. and questionmarket came from since all three reported no spyware before installing BearShare Lite bu the did not come up on the 3rd test. The links below explain what they do they are tracking cookies.

After Install Save Now is Adware not spyware. The BearShare bundled software is a false positive. The link below is the definition of U.SaveNow from there website.

You saw it! No spywares in Spybot and Adaware! FYI cookies are something you got meanwhile when using a browser. You maybe even got that cookie from going onto BS site. Is a cookie a spyware? Well, it can be used to track someone on the web, (gnutellaforums has cookies too) but this is certainly not from Bearshare and a cookie is not an application, only some data with expiry date. Just browse the web and spybot will find dozen of those.

I understand you can be confused about that stuff since it can look complacated, but really MS antispyware is WRONG and BS lite is CLEAN.

Ciao ;)

Thank you for you help here, and correcting me. (It is appreciated) I did it all for a 3rd time. The U.SaveNow Adware is coming from BS/Lite I disconnected from the Internet then manually went to the registry and made sure it wasn't there. I then installed BS/Lite with the installer that was saved to my hard drive still disconnected from the Internet.

After installing and opening BS/Lite still disconnected. I did another spyware scan MSAS reported U.SaveNow Adware I then manually went into the registry and it was there. But it can easily be removed and BS/Lite works without it. U.SaveNow brings up pop-ups as you browse the Internet. It is quite annoying but it is not spyware and it is easily removed.

The bundled spyware MSAS reports is no existent apparently it is associating the name of BearShare to bundled spyware rather than checking for the spyware itself. Rather disappointing I did have faith in MSAS up until this point. While I still think it is a decent tool I see they are starting to take shortcuts in the definitions department and will no longer rely on it's results without a second opinion or third.

Boy I hate being wrong but (BEARSHARE LITE HAS NO SPYWARE)
