MAKING CDs

I am new to this technolgy. I have downlaoded music files and now want to curb a CD to play in my car. How do I do this and what type of CD do I use? CD-RW doesn't work.

Do you own a CD burner?

You will need some CD Burning software too (Nero works well for me) though im sure their are hundreds available from google.

CD - RW stands for Rewritable so should definately work fine so ar as i know. You can also try CD - R, cd's.

CD-RW's are fine for the computer or a dvd player, but most cd players will not play RW disks. Use a CD-R disk & burn at minimum speed & you should be fine. If you want your disk to last many years then stay away from the very, very cheap brands. Some only last 12-24 mths before they deteriorate & start to distort. So choose the quality that you're after. When you burn your cd, make sure you choose audio cd format & NOT mp3 disk. Car cd players will not play mp3 disks unless you buy a special one that does.
