Default only 10 hosts per download

hi guys,

i'm not entirely new to the sharing of files scene since i have been in and been running a sharing group for about a year now, but because of legal stuff i stopped doing that, so i'm now into anonymous sharing trough P2P.

first ill give you some stats on my connection i don't have any problems connecting but i would like to get my downloads a bit faster.

the usual download speed i have with well hosted files is about 50 - 100KB/s (byte)

i can download at 5000kbit/s (625kbyte/s)
and upload at 750kbit/s (93,75kbyte/s)

so that's not a problem at all,

but what i notice is that i only get one download from a maximum of 10 hosts, as you can see i have a highend connection at my home, no nat routers, no firewalls (except personal firewall wich is correctly configured) and no other problems at all, except that i want to use the full extend of my connection.

does anybody have any suggestions for me or am i stuck with a maximum of 10 hosts a file?

*edit* -start
sorry guys, i see now, i have to put my connection type higher, but that still only gives me 14 hosts a file, is there any way to tweek this? say to 20 hosts?
*edit* - end

Thats about right. You wont get more than that no matter your connection. P2P has always been like that although, I get more resources when I use Bearshare than Limewire. If you go for the popular files you'll have the most resources and it all depends if the hosts are online at the sametime you are. The most resources Ive ever had at the sametime with limewire is 3-4 if Im lucky. I have NEVER had ten hosts to download off at the sametime. Then again, I only download rare music.
