I have uninstalled limewire because it starts itself whenever it wants. Now that I have uninstalled it I get this message when it tries to start itself up again. I get this message like every thirty seconds and I need to know how to make it stop. PLEASE HELP! I just want to get of limewire and any trace of it left on my computer.

It might not be, but i suspect you might have a virus. See 1. LimeWire continually Popping up every few seconds & also Opening at System Startup, & also 2. LimeWire popping up - how to eradicate it & also
3. WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of!

Get rid of the virus. Clean the system up. Then uninstall. Then re-install. See also point #5 in no. 3. above.

thanks so much. i think this is prolly the fix i need. my avg free started telling me i have a virus on every startup around the time i downloaded limewire. thanks so much.

scan your system with an AV. Remove from add/remove and any leftover limewire folders you have on your drive.
