[SIZE=1]does anybody know how to find one's own ip adress to give to friends so that we can find each other and chat when we are logged on?

bleublancrouge, what you need to do is go to the search option in LW and click on the "direct connect" tab. It is set up to allow you to enter the IP address of someone you want to download from directly -- and it also tells you what your IP address is at that time.

Hope this helps.

If it doesn't show your ip, it means you're firewalled & not configured properly! Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)
