If you bought LW, then you'll only have LW Pro IF you bought it through the official site. Unfortunately there's far too many scam sites out there that sell the "Basic" version of LW which can be obtained for free from the official site: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml
LW Pro costs US $18.88 (which converts to about $25.22 AUD not including card/conversion costs.) Perhaps you should see Membership? - **WARNING ** - Download p2p Clients ONLY Thru Official Sites

As for your downlds, your default location for the downld folder is C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared

For quick & easy access; Go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link)

So open up your burner program, select data format/CD ROM or equivalent (different prog's have different names for it), direct it to the location of your files ... be they in the downld folder or moved by yourself, then select whether do burn a session or burn disk (sessions will allow you to burn more later if there's enough space left over.) Then put a blank CD-R or CD-RW in & select your burn speed & press burn/write.

Hi I paid like 50 american, which included the "pro" and some extra things. This was for a life time membership.
It then directed me to this site: http://member.mp3downloadhq.com to download it.....

Damn it! That's a scam site! You'll find them listed here Known Scam Sites

Cancel the transaction ASAP thru your credit company. They have special deparments that deal with scams, etc. And with luck they will repay what you paid. I think you may well find you don't have pro. See this to check http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=46629

There is no lifetime membership. They make you pay for the "free" version.

The official LimeWire site is here http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

Sorry to hear, but stress to them it was a scam. There's so many scam sites out there. Many sponsor google to get listed.

We have enough problems trying to filter them off this site with the google ads that appear at the top. The forum site admin isn't around too often & these ads are starting to get a hold again.

I am in Australia and I just called the credit card company, $72.00 was charged to my partners card, so yeah I am in trouble lol. I have tried to call the mp3download site, but of course its only 12.20 am there...... I dont think there is much I can do. But I am going to have to pay again which is a bit of a bummer.

I am not going to have a big cry about it, but it is very dissapointing. I suppose I can only blame myself, I should have researched better.

I reiterate, make a large noise with your or your partner's card company. I was charged twice for things I never purchased many years back (some months after using my c/card to book concert tickets) & after speaking to the right department was refunded the money. So get a hold of the c/card company & get a hold of the department that deals with scams, etc. & stress to them you were scammed & didn't get what you paid for.

Some people were able to get refunds from the actual scam site: get your $$$ BACK!!! (music members) I'm not sure that's the exact same scam site but same principle applies.
