Okay, a while ago Limewire would sporadically open and close, and there would be like a million of them on my tray. So I finally closed them all and tried to download it again, after erasing.

Well, that didn't work. It wouldn't complete the download and now this pops up every minute or so:



Now Limewire don't download because it says I have it running and to close it but I don't think I have anything limewire-related running.

Please help, I need to get rid of this quick.

eta: I also did copy and paste that message to bugs@limewire.com but I got send back an invalid email form.

do you have multiple installs? if so, chech your add/move if using windows, make sure you only got one copy of Limewire installed. And do you have an Anti Virus scanner? and a Spyware removel program? if you have these then I strongly suggest you scan your hard drive for viruses/trojans/worms/spam. Limewire SHOULD NOT open or close on it's own. I would suggest you do a fresh, clean install of Limewire, just incase you got it infested.
