Question Understanding Uploads

In the Limewire Library of your shared files it shows number of uploads, like 0/0. Does anyone know what the number to the left of the forward slash indicates, and what does the number to the right of the slash indicate? Thanks.

I came here to ask the same question. Is anyone going to answer then?

I am guessing that one might be complete and the other total (complete+incomplete) but I don't know for certain. If that is the case then some of mine have a lot of incompletes.

Is anyone ever going to answer this question? There must be someone out there who knows.

One is successful uploads & the other is attempted uploads. That's as much as I know. I'm not sure which category partial uploads fits into.

The hits column shows how many times your shared files have been found in other people's searches.

Default uploads

what i'd like to know is:

if there are 169 locations for a song why do i constantly see the same song being uploaded from me. today there is 59/211. just for that song. another song on that album has 61/250 at 159 locations. if it's not my original file, and with all those locations, why do they keep U L from mine? (a lot of users from europe)

i don't have a prob w/it. i'd just like to see something other than "enya" going out.

Most of the time people will download the version with the most locations, so that will include you. But it will only be a partial upload.

Default no partials here!

since i only do music, i don't share or download partials. even when i was on dial-up.
i've been on for 45mins, already that song is 7/14 with 43 locations.

Default Weelll!! how cool is that!

i just love visiting this forum! you (i) learn all kinds of stuff.

yes i have mutiple hosts downloading the same song, i've seen today three people at the same time. happens all the time.

sooo, that means if i have 50 completes, that's a total of all bits & pieces??? or just the completed's???

p.s. i parcel out 2 at a time, with 9 total U L's, i've never seen songs from one album using all 9 slots (so far).
