Hi...I`m stuck on this one at present? LW Pro 4.9.23 when I`m entering a search for example NAVMAN 600 I`m getting other search results in the `NAME` column with my original search name in parenthesis at the end of each search result ie **WMA file** text (NAVMAN 600)
can you offer a quick fix?

I did a search using Phex, not Limewire and I got the same thing as you (all rather rude) And all the results look extreemly suspect.

Perhaps you should leave out the 600 from your search

I THINK this search has triggered off a nasty looking piece of auto spamming.... don't quite know why.




BTW you could have deleted the wrongly placed post, injstead of editing it.

Thanks for quick reply.......I`ve deleted as described!, have also un-installed LW and re-installed however, either with/out the 600.still get the porn!


PS.........after some more deletions from Windows Explorer and a reboot, all seems ok now.many thanks

hmm I'm not sure that reinstalling LW or deleting stuff from Windows Explorer would have helped on this occasion. Porn turns up in all sorts of searches ... if indeed it is porn and not some sort of virus or spy ware.
I have noticed however that re-searching a file that previously came up with a lot of rubish, will a few hours later, probably not contain much of the rubish.
