Rename file then theres nothing Im hoping that you can help a girl out here, I have Lately been renaming some of the files that I download from limewire and after I try it will tell me that I cant rename that file then I try to play it and it tells me that the file isnt there. The writing of the file becomes red, I rename the music or tv shows so I can transfer them to my xbox because sometimes the file name is too big for the xbox. Has anyone had this problem before? |

I have a feeling that if you use limewire to try to rename files, and they are being uploaded at the time, they can dissapeer. Does any of this seem to ring a bell. I use iTunes to rename files, and this or something like it would be a wise way to rename files. I can't comment on video titles, or Xbox Let us know if this makes sense |

Just a couple of days ago someone had the same problem. If you press the Refresh button within the LW Library window, this will update LW's account of the files. See the identical issue here Can't rename a file without losing it (click on link)
