limewire question Hiya, I'm a n00b, sorry if this is a stupid question. Someone with ip XXXX asked me a question by that chat box thing to me, but had left before I got back into the room again. Any way I can contact that person? Would be very much appreciated. Thanks for bothering replying to me =) |

I don't know how to open chat at all though hehehe *looks embarassed* And sorry, I did read the rules actually, that was stupid of me, you never post ip's anyway, i'm an admin on a completely unrelated board and should know better. Have edited post. Sorry. |

When someone sends you a chat, it lists their ip. You can keep a track of that & attempt to do a direct connect at some time (if at 1st it doesn't succeed, try again ...) How to use Direct Connect If you direct connect (DC) with them then you can return the chat message. Follow my links & it will explain how to do chat ... etc. (ie: right-click user to select chat from menu)
