drag and drop problem
 

i finally learned how to transfer songs from LW to itunes. However, some songs don't want to transfer. i click but they don't drop. anyone else have that problem??

If I get problems, I go to iTunes > File > Add to library and select the file . If that doesn't work I try to open the file with Real player and if that works, it still seems to be a right off as far as iTunes is concerned. If it doesn't work in Real Player, im afraid the file is probably useless.

Double-check to see that the file doesn't already exist within iTunes Library. Sometimes if a song has identical name, file size, id3 tag, etc. then iTunes won't add it because it already exists within the library.

Also, iTunes won't import mp3pro or ogg files. (For mac osx, you can get an ogg vorbis plug-in to allow ogg files to be added.)

thanks guys! your suggestions worked. some files were already in my library, just not where i thought they would be. the others i was able to add using your suggestions. hope you stay on top of this stuff for us newbies!
