video downloads When I download video files i can hear the audio, it is clear, but I cannot see the picture (i am using wmp) . the picture is distorted and looks like many squares? This does not always happen, some files are great video and audio. It doesn't seem to matter if the avi or mpeg files both have the video problem. Any suggestions?? |
Get VLC media player it plays everthing, use it for a backup player. I dont bother with the other players any more, vlc has never let me down, oh and its a free download...;) |
video files the video files that have great audio but no picture (small colorful squares) will also not convert properly (I use dvd santa). It has the same problem when I try to watch it on my dvd player - great audio, distorted picture. I am wondering if it is corrupt files on the system? does anyone else have this problelm. |
I use dvd santa as well and it always coverts and plays my files without a problem. Is this happening with every file or just a selected few? |
Another tip to try is to do a search using bitzi web. you just right click on the file you have found, go to advance, click and then click on look file up with bitzi, this is a site where people rate the files they have downloaded, I personally wont download anything that hasn't been rated on bitzi...then you are sure of what your getting....;) |
