Your Search is too specific.... Let me preface this rant by saying that I like Limewire. However, I fail to see how entering a song name and artist name in a search is being "too specific". For example, I can do a search for the song "Stars Fell on Alabama" with no problem. However, because so many people have done this song, I have to wade through all of the results to find the one I want. If I add in the artist name in the search, I get the aforementioned error message that my search is now too specific because I added the artist's name. It's not just that song either, it happens all of the time. The funny part is, sometimes song title and artist name are accepted and it will search, but more often than not I get the error. In my humble opinion, this is a bug and should be addressed in a future release. Thanks! |

Experiment a bit. Put the artist and song in the "all types search" ... I find putting the artist and song in the respective boxes gives a pile of different songs by the artist (if I'm not told the search is too specific) ... which is a pain and I too would like to see fixed |
