Firewall questions
 

Have windows xp. Limewire displays "have dedected a firewall". I've followed inst. for internet connection and also checked upnup connection. Am able to download some movies but not much. Appears that no one is uploading though have allowed banwidth for it. Why is limewire still detecting a firewall.

Do you have any other firewalls enabled like with your anti virus protection? If you have any third party firewalls running in the background, it might detect it just dont disable your windows firewall. If you are able to download though, you should be ok.

Limewire will always detect your windows firewall. Dont disable that, read the forum stickys for further info on how to config your firewalls.
