![]() I always preview my movies before I download the entire thing, just to make sure its the right quality and so on, but it doesn't work anymore. This happened after I installed the newest version of RealPlayer. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but it still won't work. Every time I try to preview a file, I get an error message saying "A general error has occured. Class not registered." Now my Windows Media Player gives the same message, too. But, they both work when I'm not trying to preview a file. What can I do? |

![]() Try using a different media player. VLC media player is a good one and the codecs are already built in. Use it as a back up if nothing else. Here's a link to a thread with more info: CODECs list for Movies /Alternate players / Video help forums

![]() I installed VLC media player, and as Lord of the Rings suggested in that link there, I tried to make it my default player, but it didn't really work. So this didn't help me with the previewing the files problem because in order to open them with VLC, it has to be my defalt player, right? |
