Hi, very new to Limewire. Can anyone advise me if I am able to search and then download a complete album or if I have two selectively downlaod the tracks individually as I find them.

You can add ALBW or Album for instance onto the search IMHO it is best to search artists rather than albums. This thread and the one linked in the last post will tell you quite a bit about ALBW ... Albumwrap which allows you to unwrap these files into the separate tracks.

Also ...When you do a normal search try ordering the files by size, and anything which is nearly 100 MB will be a complete album probably

I find anything between about 40 MB to 300+ MB is an albumwrap (depending on length & bit rate.) Sometimes they're not all true albumwraps but a single file of the entire album. Yes some people do that (gads knows y?)
