Default Search for a specific file type?

Hey All...

I've got LW Pro and all is well, for the most part. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how I can better search for specific file types that are far less common than what most people are searching for. I'm looking for files that end with stuff like *ptb, *gp3 and stuff like that. If I could search for a file type it would save me a lot of time.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Respectfully...

Uncle Os

I would love to know this too, I only expect a few people to have the specific file types which I'm searching for (architectural design mostly), but have yet to figure how to just get a list of everything of this cirtain file type. PLZ HELP!!

Try using the 'All Types' category. Type in file name then the extension, eg: blahblah ptb

It's a bit of trial & error, try searching in general terms if you don't have a specific file name

Hi,

All you need to do is search using all types, and enter the file extension without the '.'.
I.e. to search for all mp3's, instead of typing *.mp3 etc, just type 'mp3'
