Limewire automatically opening

How do you stop Limewire from automatically opening when you turn on your comp????

* Get rid of the virus on your computer!!! In future, ignore files less than 2 MB (2,000 KB) Such files are either spam or virus! See Arrange search results by size (click on link) so your largest files are at the top of the search results. This saves some confusion! ;)

1. WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of!

2. LimeWire continually Popping up every few seconds & also Opening at System Startup

3. LimeWire popping up - how to eradicate it

actually

I just got Limewire not too long ago, and the reason why im asking this is because I have a slow internet connection, and I already have 2 other progrqams that open on start-up that doesnt take but maybe 30 seconds, but with Limewire opening at start-up it takes around 5 minutes. It doesnt continually pop-up or anything, I was just wondering how to disable it from automatically starting, so I can do it manually.

Well then I hope no problems (np) then! ;) Just go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Advanced>System Startup & uncheck the option & press Apply button.

But when you say 5 mins, it sounds like this help!! Limewire restarts itself without me activiting it (around 5 mins later)

When I go to Options then AAdvanced the only things that are their are, Preferencing, Firewall Config, and Proxy.

The very last one in advanced options should be System startup (you may need to scroll down.) Which version of LW do you have? Where did you get it? Did you get it here & did you pay for it or get it for free? http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

I currently have Limewire Basic.

Look again then. You may need to drag the window down if you can't see the option for System Startup.

Their isnt anything their, evrything is viewable, as their is space between the bottom and proxy.

Well it seems you have a virii then. See the links I left above. A good source to check your system out is NorbiesWorld (click on link) so you'll find out one way or another & a solution.
