![]() *r. and Mr. S*th.avi I downloaded this movie last night. It wouldn't run in my Windows Media Player, saying it didn't recognize the codec. Now, when I try to delete the file, it says it can't because it is being used by another program. I think this might be a malicious file. Any suggestions how I can delete this file, and find out what the other program is that prevents me from deleting this file. Thanks Last edited by Lord of the Rings; December 11th, 2005 at 06:41 AM. |

![]() Hi Larry, First your not supposed to name the files. Thats piracy talk and is against the Forum Rules. You may have d/led a virus. One way to avoid this is to look-up the file with "bitzi" first. How to use Bitzi Web Lookup Try deleting it from your shared folder with LW shut down. The default location is C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared. If that doesn't work try deleting it in safe mode, and run your anti-virus. Also check out this thread: WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of!
