I just read on the site that LimeWire Basic is free and LimeWire Pro cost $18 or so. And it's a one time charge. When I signed up for LimeWire I paid around $30 or so that said I would get a lifetime membership. I'm not sure if I got basic or pro but everytime I sign on it asks me to get pro so I assume that I had basic but the faq says that basic is free. Either way I paid too much. Can anyone tell me why?

Also, what is the file extension for DVDs? What kind of files can be put on DVDs?

4. DVD's in their natural state are not shared over gnutella. They are always converted to another format & reduced in size to fit either onto a VCD or SVCD. But you can still burn them onto DVD. Nero 6 & 7 & Roxio are the best for this. Don't downld anything other than AVI & MPG/MPeg as they are most reliable & easiest to re-convert to DVD.

I got scammed last week by Movieadvanced.com and paid $58 just to get a link to the Limewire site. I complained to Pay Pal & got a refund the next day. You should try too.

Good luck. I told Google as well hopefully if enough people complain these sites will be removed.
