worms in software

Hi everyone *waves* I'm new and need some advice. I have dl some software...ran virus scanner and it has a virus worm. I deleted that and tried dl it again from a different user and the same thing. I would dl the software which is the free paint shop pro from the sites as I use to do but something is wrong with my internet explorer... pages won't display. I don't know very much about cputers so I cannot fix it myself. It's been like that a week now. I thought I would have some luck dl it from limewire... but I get that worm virus each and every time. Does it happen to any of you guys? The songs I dl are clean... it is just the software. Thank you all so much in advance. I hope I posted this in the correct forum. Forgive me if I didn't. Like I said I am only new to computer and such.

We are not supposed to post titles in the forum but I see you are talking about the free version so I guess it is OK I am guessing you are DL a file about 851.7kb in size.

If it were me and I would be looking for a file more like 167MB in size. When you do a search look at the top of the search screen and click on where it says size and it will arrange the files by size.

Do you mean titles of the software were are not allowed to post? I'm very sorry, I didn't know that. I will have to look around here and get familiar with the forum. I joined a while back but soon after that my computer broke and was without one until recently.
