Erasing Memory of Downloaded Files

You know how if you've downloaded something from Limewire, there's a box to the left of the file on the search screen that is checked? How do I get Limewire to forget that that file was ever downloaded? I erased the files from my harddrive (from the shared folder) but when I look up the same genre again, the file shows up as already having been downloaded. Is there any way to get rid of that?

I've answered this identical question before & don't feel inspired in repeating myself for the umpteenth time. Perhaps you can use the search button above to find it for yourself. If you've already downlded the exact file with the same hash info (ie: same file size, same data makeup, etc.) then why would you want to redownld it? The only diff might be id3 tag or similar.

Me 2 Even though it shows that you have downloaded the file, you can redownload it with out changing the name, if you have deleted it. I was trying to test what happens if you restart Limewire, but of course the relevant host/file had dissappeared, when Limewire was restarted, so I'll give that a miss for now:)

Do you find the same file shows as downloaded after restarting Limewire?
