Hi guys

I'm at the end of my patience so I really hope someone can help me out. I can start LW and connect as normal, but after just a few minutes use the download speed will drop down from what it was running at to zero for no apparent reason.

Often I am unable to use the net using IE when this happens, but not all the time. The only thing that gets it going again is to reset the broadband router manually. I thought it was a router issue, but it only seems to happen with Limewire.

If anyone has any ideas whatsoever please please please let me know - i'll try anything!!

Try the .limewire fix in the link below. If that doesn't help you are right in assuming it might be your router. We will need to know the make and model or your router.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I tried following the instructions on the thread but to no avail. The version on LW i'm using is 4.9.37 so section 3 doesn't work at all.

My router is a Linksys WAG54G.

If there's any more info you need then please let me know.
