I ran searches but they return no results no matter what I search for. What is going on?

I am currently connected to the internet through an office network. The firewall isn't located on my computer but on the server. But LW is saying that I am connected and shows no errors. I came accross a link on the LW site to test your settings and the link said that connection was a success. Everything looks fine accept that when I search I find no results.

Any further suggestions?

I see that it's FALSE. This propably means that it's the firewall of the server. The video also do not want to download, it says "Need more sources" and the progress stay at zero. I can browse the internet though, maybe there is a way to connect through HTTP?

It looks as though p2p sharing is being blocked thru the server. That's the impression I get anyway. Yes http proxy is an alternative worth trying. I can give you the links but I personally can't advise. All I can say is you may need to try a great many ip no.'s before you find one that works ... and if it works at all.

A Fix for those whose ISP's block Limewire pages 1 - 3 which have links to alternative instructions. (there's various types of proxies mentioned in this thread with off-shoot links to alternative instructions, etc.)
