WARNING: Child pornography is being shared by P2P file sharing programs like limewire Child pornography is being shared on yours and your partners P2P file sharing programs! I suggest you block out the files from being shared on kazaa and limewire, it's getting people arrested by the F.B.I. |
Good! They should be arrested for child porn. No one should fear, however, if they unknowingly download child porn. You won't get arrested for one file. The FBI wants people with hoards of it. |
ok one limewire u probably dont know **** about the F.B.I. and second limewire should be the ones blocking the child porn.. i paid for pro and it dosent do anything its suppose to do.not faster. limewire devoloped the program so they shoul have people that know how to block porn out.(opinion)the ****ing ***** that are posting the porn should be shot.(opinion) |
this is nothing new just avoid ***keywords edited*** is you can and filter it wif you have the newer limewire get over it, stuff happens |
Still On P2p Networks I am appauled that there is still child porn available on limewire. I was downloading a video, so I thought, and low and behold. Two very young children, girl and boy, in a very nasty setup. Well now I am on my 4th monitor and had to get a cast for my hand. The wife told me to just get rid of limewire. I like limewire because i can download a lot of Indie music and actually like the searches that are found off the net. Yeah I know grow up. I have a 2 children as well. Is there anywhere i can report an IP that I happen to come across to report it or is it really true that they only want ppl with hoards. I also noticed something called "keyword edited" after i did a search of superman 2 with richard pryor. DON'T DOWNLOAD ANYTHING WITH THAT NAME. I do wish i have known before that before my $400 dollar replacement. N E WAY!! I am located in Canada and need to know where to report an IP. |
This thread has many links that you can report them to. Just be careful who you report so you don't report someone innocent that just downloaded one or two files by mistake. And remember to note the time of the download since many of these perverted souls use dynamic IP's http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...ght=Pedophiles |

How can you innocently download two or three files?.Okay i have been a victim of that but if it isn't what it says it is i shred it using shred it.I have reported the serious "collectors" by searching the hosts files and if they have loads i report there ip.Saying that there was a case recently here locally where a guy was using limewire to download child porn images and when the file was downloaded he was changing the name [right click rename] and the police found 300 files all called things like disney 1 or childrens movie this is evil people innocently searching for disney clips/trailers/cartoons are downloading them and finding child porn.I report them.Scum. |
I can honestly say that I have never seen anything like that. Maybe because I don't usually download children's movies + I am a long time user of Limewire, so I know how to search pretty well. I also use the Keyword Filter to filter words that imply anything KP related, so most of the results you are talking about never show up in any of my searches. Mislabeled files are off course not that easy to block, but I have been lucky so far. Also use Bitzi to see if the files have been rated good or bad before downloading. I think people should report those perverts but still like I said make sure first that it in fact is someone "evil" and not some innocent person that has downloaded something of that nature by mistake. Things like writing down the date and time of the download are very important, since dynamic IP's do change often. Also maybe taking a screen shot when you browse the host and other things like that. These things will not only prevent innocent people from getting in trouble, but will most likely help the authorities build a case against the offender |
All good points, don't some other countries have different rules about this, and different age restrictions? Some eastern Countries just don't care ! |
The reason I didn't mention that was because I very much doubt that many people, that don't know how to avoid these files, will know what location the results come from just by looking at an IP. Or know the laws for that specific country. Also if they are using Proxy to connect through it will not be easy to decide where an IP originates. (For the normal Limewire user that is. For the autorities it is easier.) It should be a thing for the authorities to decide, if they have any chance of pursuing these sickos or not. The fight against KP is multinational and they work together on it as far as I know. |
Who cares? I could careless. If someone wants to look at that stuff, more power to them! The internet is all about freedom -- freedom to look at whatever you want, whenever you want, however you want. Personally, I am not in to that sort of thing, but if someone else wants to look at it, who am I to tell them not to? And don't let anyone BS you about the "ability" of law enforcement to find someone's IP address. If you use TOR, there is no way in hell that anyone can find you. There are many other similar such services as well. Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Expression means not just seeing or hearing "good things", but also "bad things" or things that you might disagree with. No one forces you to look at this crap. I know that I don't like it, so I don't look at it. That is my free choice. |
Then just one question. Where does the kids freedom to live a normal life come in ? I think that people can have too much freedom. There should be a limit there somewhere. A good place to put it would be at childporn, instructions on how to make torrorist bombs and people getting their heads cut off by warcriminals |
I hope child porn makers due in an aganizing death. A slow and painful death. Or set the makers on fire. |

and yeah, you fvcking likely pedo, I have called the San Antonio police department @ (210)207-7273 and given them yur IP addy (you moron) so that they keep a close eye on your sorry a§§.... |
Wow. Your answer was soooo much better than mine :xirokrotima: |
Hilarious and to the point!:partytime2: |
boy, yur a slow typer Woody boy....yeah, I'm watching you...and your present IP is hosted by blackhole.pramberger.at...obviously yur NOW using a proxy... |
U Moron Too bad, moron, that I don't live in San Antonio. I use TOR which alters my IP address so you don't know where I am from. It changes each time I go to a website, as you will see if you look at the IP from which this post came from. And, in any event, what good would calling the cops do? The only thing that you could tell them is here is someone who says he or she does not have a problem with child porn on the internet. BFD - Big ******* Deal. I can say whatever the **** that I want. Its not against the law. I never said anything about having any (which I don't). You are obviously a dumb-*** because you make such a lame-assed threat that anyone with an ounce of sense knows is bullshit. You might has well threaten to huff and puff and blow my house down while you are at it. :bangh: I don't have a problem with someone shooting up heroin, either. But that does not mean that I am a junky. So go a head and make your call. And if you want to show up at my house, I've got something for you. I have several firearms and I am not afraid to use them. SO DO YOUR BEST MR. BIG BAD WOLF! And you can suck my *** while you are at it.:xirokrotima: |
I am typing slow because I am watching tv at the same time. So I type while the commercials are on. In any event, I ALWAYS use a proxy whenever I surf the net just because I believe in privacy. |
nice try baby lover...I checked the nodes for TOR, and your residential road runner account is not one of them |

I just accidentally downloaded a disturbing file and immediately deleted it from my computer. I deleted it so fast that I don't even know who it came from. Should I search for it again [feeling queasy] and report the person? |
What about the people who upload their videos of some 18 yo model and claim she's 16? I could upload a video of god knows what and I know there's nothing illegal about it but just for my own stupidity I decide to fill in the description with every single sexual terminology I can think of. I know some hosts do that and not that it's really important or that I give a crap, I'm just curious how someone would handle that. Because if someone can upload a child porn and disguise it as a hollywood movie as someone has reported, and then someone opens that file still thinking it's a movie and it turns out they're watching child porn - oops! Is Big Brother gonna hunt them down? How can you keep yourself safe? |

But maybe, I think like that because I'm a longtime user of P2P and the odds of me downloading KP of any network are slim to none. Dunno. |

Download the larger sized files. .avi format is probably the best bet to get legit files on LimeWire Googling the filename sometimes works if unsure |

1) If Person A is changing the names of files to imitate something more innocent, they are trying to force Person X to see at least SOME things that are not desired. So at least some of their free choice is being taken away unless they "fight back" with technology. :) 2) One person right to swing their arms stops at another persons face. Unless you have some pretty sophisticated software, you actually have to commit the acts depicted to record them. Child pornography is illegal in most nations (if not all). So some children are being forced into activities unnatural for their age. Is it right to turn your back on evidence of a crime because it is not something you would do or enjoy seeing. I guess you're right it is all personal choice. I think you probably care more than you believe. |

I'm an avid fan of legal adult movies. And I get really frustrated when "inventive" people who share legal videos insert keywords like "keywords edited by policy" into the file names just to catch more attention (from perverts). There are many legal files with such illegal names. (e.g. "Paris Hilton keywords edited by policy porn.avi" which would obviously be Paris Hilton herself and legal) But I'm scared to download the less obvious ones because 1) I don't want to get disgusted and feel bad for the rest of the day 2) I don't want the cops on my door. And sometimes the opposite is true, files with innocent ("disney") or vague file names ("teen girl") are actually child porn (like the other members have said), or are on the border line (naked young girls eating bananas but not having intercourse --clever thugs cover their own backs through the loopholes of the definition of "child porn"). Imagine the scenario: I put a file on my download list, go to school, and come back to find out that the videos are illegal, and what's more, several people have downloaded it from me. All of a sudden, I'm a "kiddie porn host". Scary scenario. Brrrrrr.. It's frustrating to have to avoid lots of legal movies because of "inventive" people, and even more frustrating to come home to see that the download I had been waiting for turned out to be disgusting child porn (I prefer to call it "child abuse and brutalisation"; "porn" sounds too "soft" for that kind of disgrace) I'm glad to hear that the cops are after those who have tons of them, and not those who download one or two files by mistake. And as for the comrade who said "stop the demand and you stop the supply"... This may be a little off-topic, but I'd like to share my opinion. I wish it were that easy. A kiddie porn gang got busted in my country, kudos to our cops. (One of the members was a woman; how pathetic is that!) They were selling their "work" in the form of video cassettes. Shooting child pornography is risky business (even in East Europe or Asia ) and the penalties are severe. It's simply not worth the risk if all you want to do is show it to everyone on the web; there has to be a financial gain to counterbalance the risk. This is why I believe that most of the child pornography we see on the P2P networks are simply copies of cassettes that were sold to perverts long time ago. They probably decided to "share" them (how compassionate!) once they get tired of m........... to them for months. You can think of the files as "end-of-season sale". So I think the trick is to bust the monsters (the big fish) and their paying customers, which would be accomplished through strong intelligence, and not through going after small-time perverts on the p2p networks. The networks should definitely be monitored, but the focus should be on the physical "flesh-and-bone" gangs like the gang in my country. Allocating the majority of resources to track down cyber-perverts (who are spectators) would be a heedless waste of tax dollars. Thanks for reading. Edit: I see that the keywords I typed were "edited by policy". I honestly didn't mean to break the rules, they were just an example. Sorry if I did anything wrong. Basically I was trying to say that there are people who insert child porn keywords into the file names of legal files. Edit 2: Dear underage girls, please don't do online strip shows to your boyfriends. And never agree to have him tape you during intimate moments. 1) Boys (especially at that age) cannot be trusted with such confidential material, you'll end up getting broadcast over the web. Not even sueing them will reverse the damage once thousands of people (possibly including your family and schoolmates) see you engage in provocative acts. 2) You are motivating pedophiles and giving them moral grounds ("Man, those young b****es are already ripe and begging for it!" mentality) Protect yourself. |
Innocently downloading child porn Last night I was attempting to download some Family Guy cartoons and got a heap of porn in the search results. I used the filter and ran the search again. It blocked out most of the porn but a couple snuck through. From what I have found most of the porn have fairly descriptive names so you'd have to be pretty unlucky to download a child porn movie inadvertantly. If it does happen my advice would be to report it immediately to the authorities, They may not be able to catch the perpretrators BUT; There will be a record of your complaint and if, by chance the authorities detect a deleted child porn movie on your hard drive you will be covered. I wonder, though. How would they know where to look? They would have to have some reason to be searching through your hard drive for deleted images, wouldn't they? My best advice is to avoid ALL porn completely, let's face it, it's all pretty tacky and puerile. Mostly harmless but totally unnecessary, like looking into the display window of a butcher shop really! Seen one you've seen them all and shouldn't we be directing our attention to more cerebral, productive forms of entertainment |
"There will be a record of your complaint and if, by chance the authorities detect a deleted child porn movie on your hard drive you will be covered." In your dreams maybe. If that worked, the criminal paedophiles would call the FBI all day. |
criminal pedophiles would have numerous such files, not one as the poster made a scenario for... you in a particularly bad mood or w00t? or perhaps you wish to see just how far you can go before banishment...? |

Considering how people might immediately move a file out of their folder, not having many files doesn't mean they don't have them, so I think the FBI would go after whoever they saw with even 1 file. |
