Default Is it worth it?

Is Limewire Pro worth it? Like, I usually get like 138kbps from 7 hosts. How much will I get with pro?

That depends on you connection do a speed test to see what your connection speed is. With Pro you can download from 10 host instead of 7 but it also depends on the connection of those you are downloading from. Theoretically Pro should be 30% faster than Basic. In practice at times it is other times it is not Like I said it depends on connection speeds yours and theres.

You can do a speed test at the link below.

Well, I did a speed test for the Washington DC area(I live in Toronto, Canada) and it was the fastest speed I got. Anyway, here's the results:

Download Speed: 2506 kbps (313.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 584 kbps (73 KB/sec transfer rate)

The odds are you could do better with Pro but remember it also depends on the connection the people you are downloading from.
