BTW when cabos or acqlite will ONLY connect to 3 UPs as real LW apps (ie LW and FrostWire)?

It is not because Dave Watanabe (which is an ***) do the that, that you should do the same..

UPDATE: https://www.limewire.org/checkcode.shtml Now LW uses anonymous SVN checkout instead of CVS.

Exactly Cabos uses LimeWire's code.
Cabos should show the respect to open source community by contributing patches or translatins or feedbacks.
Cabos users shares more contents -> Benefit of Gnutella network -> Improve of LimeWire's charm(!?)

Bullshit. Making Cabos more reliable is NONE of your business as far as LW core is concerned. You want to improve LW core, fine submit java patches for core or use the GDF to improve the protocol.

Use the default settings, the rest is none of your business. The protocol in LW is designed to be the most efficient at 3 UP connections. If leaves use more connections = degradation of other's performance. I'm part of FrostWire team and we USE 3 connections. DO the same.

I'm actually sure it is not the case. Acquisition users actually share much less content than the LW counterparts and since you try to mimic ACQX.... Put your figures here if you can prove that, I know how ACQX users do (most leechers).

Nice move! Previous users might complain a little, but you can always redirect them to this thread where I'll make a pleasure to explain them your decision. I've done it to justify other devs' decisions in the past, so I can do that for Cabos, hehehe

BTW I saw that you submitted the FW project the Japanese translation, nice! (as you probably know I'm part of FW team, and for LW I do more betatesting and public relations than anything)
