moving downloads to folder??? Hello. I've been having a problem with limewire and can't seem to figure out how to fix it. See, when I download a song it goes to my library, of course. Well, I don't like my library getting full of songs, so after I download it, I want to move it from my library to "my music" folder under my documents on my computer. I'll listen to the song on my computer from "my music" folder. I have figured out how to save the song in my music folder, but if I delete it from my library on limewire then I cannot play it through my music folder. How can I move the download from my library to my music folder under my documents on my computer and then still be able to listen to it after I delete it from my library on limewire. It's driving me crazy. I can't keep my library organized on limewire because when I move and then delete a download, it's no longer able to be listened to when it's deleted. I can listen to it if I move it but don't delete it. What can I do? Please help. Brandi |
Go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you. Then you can cut & paste the song files into your Music folder. FYI: By default, the downld folder is generally here: C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared I would "also" recommend moving your music to your music folder before adding to any playlist as you're wanting to do. |
Thanks a Bunch AWESOME!!! You have no idea how long I've been trying to figure that out. Thanks so much for your help. I'm grateful Thanks Bunches, Brandi:D |
