installation
 

i have been using lw for about a month then it suddenly stopped opening / or loading i have remove it and installed a couple of times it will say that it is installed but when I click open or it will be full black screen then back to desk top. I try system restore to when it was working before the same happen.

I decided to try the update to pro. Paid amount by credit card try down loading from the comfirmation email and the same thing happen it will down load but wont open . I will appreciate any help

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 in Fixes for Limewire (sample at bottom of page.) If this doesn't do the trick, then try step #1 in that link!

Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)
