The easy way would be to burn them on disk then you can pop the CD into another computer and transfer that way.

Default transfer

what about a jumpdrive? i have two, use them (for music) all the time. i have two computers that i use, rather than download from each other, i transfer via jumpdrive. i recommend at least a 1GB if you will be using for movie.

Networking is the fastest way of transfering large amounts of GB of data.

Jump drive is a good suggestion also. I have 2 external drives.

Burning CD's or even better DVD-RW's is another method. I guess Zip disks or similar is another method (I also use.)

By default your LW files are saved here: C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared

That's unless you changed the location. Another way is: Go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you. You can move them to a desired location after that by cut & paste or drag & drop. Then move them by the techniques suggested earlier to the new machine.

Wouldnt you need the computers to be connected in order to jump a drive? Im guessing he doesnt have any of that and may not even have a built in cd burner. since, he didnt reply back, Im only assuming.

Default jump drive

for those (like ME) who are computer illiterate!!!

a jump-drive is reasonably inexpensive, and easy to use. just plugs into USB port. you just have to put it into each computer (one at a time) before you load it with stuff, just to make sure the computers recognize the new hardware. they come with their own little (program?). the best part you just drag & copy to it, (SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE), then plug it into new computer. the 1GB that i have holds a LOT of stuff. and it's the size of a lighter.

i also have a 160GB external drive. (not so inexpensive) it has more room than my computer. again easy to use, USB port. just have to remember to (safely remove hardware), before you remove or turn off.

I think they're also known as flash drives but my partner has a 256 MB one & her sister has a larger one. Very handy. So keep in mind they come in different sizes & can be put on neck chains they're so small & very transportable. Here's some examples & links to descriptions http://arstechnica.com/reviews/hardware/flash.ars/1
