Ok after somethin downloades from LW i move it to the folder i want, i only download music so i move it to my my music folder etc. But when i delete it from my Library in the LW program its deletes it from my my music folder!! Why!?!?!? i moved it from the shared folder thing where it downloads to! Would it be easier to move the file to a USB memory stick then delete it from the library and load it back onto the computer? If i removed LW from my computer (uninstall) will all the files i downloaded delete?

if your "music" folder is in "shared", i would guess that's why you're losing downloads.

if you move your music to another folder "music" you shouldn't have to delete it from L W, (it's already gone). but you do need to "stop sharing that file. otherwise no one can find the files. next time you sign on it will refresh your library. or do that yourself.

i guess the next question would be "why wouldn't you want to share your music??"

You must be doing something wrong, are you saving it to a folder? Normally, whatever you delete from your library is gone forever. You'll need to save your music somewhere & make sure it's saved before you delete anything .
