i downloaded an album but the album downloads as 1 long track.

You may have an Albumwrap album, in which case you can try unwraping it. These are usually so labelled. Indeed many files are labelled ALBW when they are not. Trying to unwrap an album will not damage it if it is not a wrapped album

If your album is one long track, I think you can break it up yourself, but I have no idea how ...yet
