The Geeks at LimeWire finally got off their asses and updated LW to address the Trojan and Virus problems we have been complaining about for so long. I only hope this works in the end as it seems to now however all users need to update to eliminate the virus and trojan files. If you purchased Pro within the past 6 months the update is free.

Yes! Excellent it is! Was about to post here but it's already up, thanks to khubla. Couldn't agree more - this is perhaps the best version of LW ever.

I tweaked the "bar" slightly upward in terms of "spam," and have seen none of the "765" nasties anywhere. Does anyone have any advice as to whether or not to list the spam at the end of files? I have set to "don't show," as I can't see a reason to see them - but is there, in anyone's opinion?

This is a terrific improvement and God help anyone who uses something other than Limewire. By adding "exe" to your filter word list and perhaps the odd ISP, I believe once again we can eliminate much of the "chaff." Any new ones will probably be posted here by someone and added to the spam list.
