Limewire into iTunes Library on PC (vs. Mac?)
 

Hi Everyone,

Don't shoot me if this has already been asked. I apologize in advance but I had a look around and couldn't find an answer. I'm new to all of this and a bit of a techno dummy so again, please forgive.

I can't figure out why my files from Limewire aren't automatically going into my iTunes Library. I'm on a PC. Is this normal for the PC version? My boss uses a Mac and said that everything she downloads just drops right into hers. My versions are the most current...just downloaded from the sites a couple of weeks ago--Limewire Basic, not Pro. Operating system Windows XP.

I saw the sticky about some of the ways to move stuff around. Seems like a lot of work when it "should" be automatic?

I've already been manually copying and pasting what I have downloaded to my library (personal CDs) to my shared folder for Limewire sharing. That's right, isn't it?

Ok, this may seem like a stupid question but have you actually enabled iTunes support? (Tools->Options->iTunes)
