![]() A64 3200+, XP + SP2, 1GB RAM, Geforce 6600GT, 250GB HD. Limewire 4.9.30 PRO. Upon opening limewire, my computer comes to a screeching halt, this is apparently due to the 80% CPU usage as the program loads. No problem, I now have the program open in front of me and I'm ready to search for a file. Isn't that simple. I search for any type of file and my computer just crawls. Limewire's gui text is very 'grainy', almost like it's using some type of video overlay, which causes insane CPU spikes. My download speeds are fine, 150kb/s. Why does the program run like a piece of **** on my better than average rig? |
