Limewire Pro

I was just wondering if Limewire Pro has a substantial increase in speed when downloading. It Regularly takes me about 5 hours to download a 2 hour movie with comcast Cable. And i was just wondering if any of you guys have Limewire pro and comcast digital cable and how about how long it takes you with limewire pro to download a movie or song?

Your downld speeds depend upon your sources (hosts)!!! So LW Pro may not necessarily make any difference. What Pro does do is it can improve upon search results. Which is better for finding the rarer files. Since Pro connects thru more ultrapeers, it means your searches in theory will reach further.

With Pro it is possible to downld from 10 hosts whereas Basic only 8. But such hosts need to be available for downlding from (free slots & bandwidth) even if they do show up in search results. You also need to have your settings to allow to downld from 10. But don't expect any dramatic improvements with pro. Generally the improvements are subtle & some people don't notice them.
