I have installed limewire and downloaded files without a problem. The problem comes when I try to play audio files in itunes. The problem starts as a few crackling sounds in the audio track, then the crackling becomes so bad that I can't even hear the music anymore. (kind of like the sound of a cb radio breaking up) I uninstalles limewire and restarted, now the music plays just fine. Has anyone else had a similar problem of compatibility with limewire and itunes? Even files that I had before the lw install were effected.
