I'm trying to concvince my mom to buy me Limewire Pro (I'd pay her for it, I'm just not old enough for a credit card or that type of thing).

She seems to think that if I buy Limewire Pro, it will put my name on a list and it will make it easier for the government to "nab" or fine me for downloading music. I was trying to tell her that it wasn't like that, but she wouldn't listen.

No. My advice would be to stick with basic until your old enough to buy it yourself.

Basic is a good program and pro is not much different.
