Limewire pro, is it worth it ?
 

Is it really any better than the basic version ? your experiences please. Cheers

I got the pro version...it's really hard to tell if I see any difference..I've been mostly downloading very large files, and some of these take hours. Part of the problem is it doesn't keep the connection, but downloads a while, stops, goes back later, etc.....I figure for the low price, it's an ok deal, but I don't see any earth-shattering diffrence

I don't see a big difference either, but I paid for it because I thought it was provide some kind of protection from the institutions suing people for downloading music. I figured, as long as your paying for something, they don't care.

I on the other hand can tell a huge difference.

I had the free version at first, it was ok. I seen the low price for pro and said "hey, its worth a shot".

I can tell a big difference in download times. I guess I am able to pull from more hosts at a time than with basic. Besides I am helping fund further advancement for future upgrades to an awesome service...LW.:)

Purchasing Pro doesn't give you any rights to download copyrighted material and would not provide any protection in court.

If you bought Pro from a site that claimed you would be able to legally d/l movies and music, then you were scammed.
