![]() Hi,, Hope nobody minds me posting in the lounge , couldnt find the right place to post . Have just upgraded my limewire pro, to pro 4.10.3, the latest edition. Problem is,,, hope someone can help. I now have 2 desktop icons,, one for the new upgrade, and one for the old version. I cant delete the old icon at all. Every time i try to delete it , i get a error message "cannot delete file. cannot read from the source file or disk " Have looked in add/remove programs but only the new version is there, cant find the old version anywhere to try and delete it. Please can anyone give me any advice to sort this out. Its not a matter of life or death,, but its really annoying me at the moment. Cheers,,,, kev. |

![]() What was your previous version? I'd suggest running utilities to check the system over. I did experience something similar if not identical. I can't remember the specific solution however. One way would be to uninstall your present version of LW. ie: Start menu>Programs>LW>Uninstall. But check your system over anyway. The ones I used were: 1. Crap Cleaner (FREE), 2. ad-ware (FREE), 3. Spybot - Search & Destroy (FREE) I also ran my system over with norton utilities. |
