I have read on this board, that if you are a frequent porn downloader, after a while - you will see the same files over and over again on LimeWire with little change. This has been the case with me and types of porn that I usually search for.

Having said that, is this a LimeWire problem or does LimeWire find the exact same results as Morpheus, Shareaza and others. In other words, would it be pointless for me to download another P2P program, if I am expecting different search results.

In addition, I find many of the clips on LimeWire to be fake or asking for some sort of license when I try to play them on Window Media Player (not sure what that is about). I am sure that LimeWire can't completely control this, but can't there be better filters in that what you search for is exactly what you get and you avoid downloading files that are not what they say they are.

All apps that connect to the Gnutella network will have the same search results. LimeWire has no idea of what is in a file. LimeWire does not wright the files or store the files. If people misname a file then it is misnamed LimeWire can do nothing about it.

if you look on your browser for a p2p site that called something like adlutfilmdownloads .com. you might have some luck.
but i think its costs about $30 per month.

LW is more inclined to connect to other LW users. But I don't believe that is "a" or "your" problem.

Perhaps some basic tips for downlding videos & pics might help:

1. Movie download issues

2. The simple advert porn videos are usually of a small size. This is more often than not, porn sites advertising their material on the network. Why ... see Quality of Content on the Network (click on link) So if you want genuine porn videos, aim for larger than 10 MB (10,000 KB+). The type suggested from the porn sites often has their ip address listed on the videos during, at the start or end of the video. These are excerpts. If you want the real thing, then aim for people who have bought these & are willing to share them & thus see point 1 re: file size.

3. Be aware of autogenerated spam results which nowadays also tends to apply to porn sites advertising.

4. Since the forum is temporarily having problems at present with a slow server & dysfunctional search function, I can only give you this tip: Cant search well help

yes they will.

Morpheus and Shareaza connect to many networks, Gnutella being only one. Gnutella and gnutella only clients are comparatively limited when it comes to video offerings. You would be well served to check out the eDonkey network and look into bittorrent.

Yep - for that reason I filter out all video except AVI and Mpeg's.
