Default ok, ok, ok...intro about myself/and some advice needed

Well, i did read through some of the previous threads, but i have some probably basic questions, ill try and lay them out as easily as i can..im a pretty big noob when it comes to this kind of stuff, but i can catch on pretty fast...ok, here they are, and if you dont want to answer thats cool, but to those that have some time to answer, its much appreciated

Ok, first...i have Napster as my sorta main DL source, mainly for the simple fact that i really like pop music, and with the "here today, gone tomorrow" trend that these artist have, the $15 bucks a month for napsters all i want, makes it easy for me. To pay 99 cents for Itunes when im very trendy, well for me it just doesnt make sense.

I have LimeWire (basic) that i use every once and awhile to find songs that i cant get on napster. I open it up for a sec, DL what i need, and then close. Never on for more than 10mins, if that.

I have the H10 from Iriver, and its the now old 5gb, holding about 1,200 songs or so. To be honest i kind of like it though, its very simple, and easy to use, although it does hang some times while switching songs. Mainly use it for working out, and whiling buring time inbetween classes at my university.

Like i said, im into pop, and trends, so i wanted an Ipod, so i went out and bought a Apple iPod nano Black 2 GB, MP3 Player. I knew all along that it was not going to compatible with Napster..but i did have Limewire, so i thought about this idea....

When i do DL songs from Limewire, i have it transferred to my "received files" and then i just sync the H10 with Windows, and it puts all my DL'ed Limewire onto it, and it does not interfer with "Napster to GO" at all. So i was thinking.......

Would i be able to Sync the songs with this new ipod? Meaning-->After i DL songs from Limewire, can i then transfer them to my new ipod?

The Ipod i bought is on its way, should be here monday this coming week, and i can return it if it doesnt work, but it would be cool if i could do that. Any thoughts on this guys? (and Girls)...*I dont have Itunes installed, but i could easily if i needed to, to make this workable...But as of right now this is what i have...

1-Napster ( I know i cant use this with Ipod)

2-LimeWire (Basic, im pretty sure its basic, i never update when it ask to go to Pro)

3-H10 (It easy to sync all the DL Limewire to it, and it doesnt mess my Napster to Go)

4-Apple iPod nano Black 2 GB MP3 Player (Want to put Limewire on it...what do i need to do? from scratch please

I really appreciate it guys and girls, this kind of stuff getting answered could save me some serious time...thanks~

You'll need iTunes to transfer downloads to iPod.
Just make sure you know where your downloads are saved. Library, click on Saved files, click Explore. That will show you your saved folder.

It's a good idea to read the stickies (in red) at the top of each section. This is one of them:

ok, yeah, i saw that..but like i said, i dont have that program yet, and i dont have the ipod in my hands yet....but i just did Dl Itunes and it did transfer all my "recieved Files" to my Itunes Library. that part of DL'in "Itunes" did help, so thanks for that tip...

Question is now, when i get this Ipod, is it pretty easy to sync with Itunes? meaning is it like the H10...where you plug it in, and it found by the Napster program...Will i just need to plug in the Ipod and then sync with Itunes?

thanks for the fast reply btw...much appreciated

when you plug your iPod in, iTunes will recognise it & iPod will come up in the source column.

The iTunes tutorial's pretty good & has a section on iPod:
