I have approximately 500+ songs in my library, but the limewire count only shows 70, which are black. The remaining files are in red and are not being counted toward my total library. How can I correct this issue and get an accurate count?

You need to wait for quite a time for all the files to become shared. The first time you switch on Limewire, or when you start it after a major reshuffle, it can take up to an hour to load a share of 3000 files..

The count indicator on the botom left of limewire shoud show a number xxxx on a green back ground. If files are still loading you will see xxx... on a khaki coloured background andd some files will be shown in red in the Library.

If not it might be a thought to unshAre and then reshare your files, but ....

BEWARE... DO NOT USE THE DELETE FUNCTION ON FILES IN YOUR LIBRARY TO REMOVE THEM FROM SHARE. YOU WILL DELETE THE FILES OFF YOUR HARD DRIVE INSTANTLY!!!
