I’ve encountered a huge problem that doesn’t seem to be covered ANYWHERE on the Limewire page!

About a 2 years ago, I BOUGHT Limewire Pro!

I have since moved and though I still have the software, I’m receiving an error during installation that says: An error occurred while downloading the file http.installengine.com/cert02/isengine/isscript.msi

I bought this software and now I can’t use it???????????

I don’t remember what email address I was using that long ago. I was sure it was ltripley@earthlink.net but I’m getting an error using that one so I don’t have a clue.

What am I supposed to do???? I can’t even reach Limewire support for Pro!!!!!!!! Can't email them.... NOTHING!

Some basic questions: WHERE DID YOU GET Pro? Second, did you keep renewing the fee after the free six months is up? What did you pay for Pro?

I bought Pro from Limewire.com
I don't remember what I paid for it.

The deal was NOT that in order to continue using the bought software, I would have to keep paying for it.

The deal was to buy Pro so you'll get these extra features (including 6 mos of updates and support) which was irrelavent to me.
I bought the software so I could use it whenever I wanted to without ever having to download and install it again!

I inserted the CD and went to install, only it won't install. I get an error about some file that can't be downloaded due to the ftp site not even existing anymore.

So...
I come to the limewire.com site and attempt to get MY software working again only I can't.... they don't recognize my email address anymore.

Do they have previsions for people in my case? Not that I've seen!

How much did I pay for it?
I don't remember... if I am ever able to reach the fine folks at Limewire that took my money, I'll ask them.
