D/lded some mp3s. They play fine on LW player but any other player says files are corrupt/unrecognised file type/wrong format etc. Tried various converters inc Audacity, but none of them can open the files in the first place. Similar error messages to various players. Sooo, short of trying to put LW media player on my mp3 player, anyone got any ideas? Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

And whaddya know, I just upgraded to LW Pro and THAT wont play the friggin mp3's now. What's happenin LW?

umm where DID you get Pro from? and, you might want to avoid using the Limewire Player and try a different player and make sure you keep the file extensions as MP3 and not save it as a playlist and, you might want to read some of the sticky notes as they will have all kinds of info in them. Also, please dont post any titles of what you're downloading in your post, thanks. Try using WMP and or Winamp instead of Limewire. If you still need help with this us know.

Tx 4 rply. Got Pro from the main site, Paypal et al. All the promised benefits received - worth the money. Didn't change extensions. Old version they worked on LWMP but nothing else, the next they didn't, showed up in red all of a sudden. They prob just got corrupted somewhere along the way. Maybe the old version was more tolerant of flakey files. BTW Wouldn't dream of disclosing titles, even tho they legal - black helicopters etc. Will lok at sticky's. Tx for help.
