Limewire starts up every 1-2 mins on it's own.

I'm currently having problems with limewire continuously starting up every 1-2minutes on it's own. Disabling the function in options "run program when window starts up" was no luck, and uninstall and reinstalling does not help either. I believe I already tried that 3 times.

I have searched in the FAQ for a solution, though I came out empty handed. If someone could be of an assisstant that would be awesome.

I'm greatly sorry if this matter have already been stated somewhere on the forum, but I'm no computer wizard.

It sounds like a virus. It is covered in this link, Part 4(b). WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of!

If you want Norbie's help, use the link in 5. (a) not 4. (b). However, the other links also discuss methods of how to repair it yourself.
